Welcome to ResumeBlitz. By accessing or using our AI-powered resume generation service at resumeblitz.polsia.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ResumeBlitz, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• You understand that AI-generated content requires human review and verification

2. Description of Service

ResumeBlitz provides:

• AI Resume Generation: Tailored resume drafts based on job descriptions and your experience
• PDF Export: Downloadable resume files
• ATS Optimization: Content structured for Applicant Tracking Systems (best effort, not guaranteed)
• Premium Features: Additional templates, unlimited generations, and priority processing (for paid subscribers)

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Verify All Content: Proofread and fact-check all AI-generated resume content before use
• Provide Accurate Information: Submit truthful experience and qualifications
• Not Rely on AI Output Alone: The Service generates drafts, not final resumes
• Comply with Employment Laws: Ensure your resume complies with anti-discrimination and data protection laws
• Respect Intellectual Property: Do not submit copyrighted content you don't have rights to use

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Generate false, misleading, or fraudulent resumes
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or attempt to disrupt the Service
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Use the Service for any unlawful or unethical purpose

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Generated Content

You retain ownership of the resume content you generate using the Service. However:

• The AI model and Service technology remain our property
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service
• We do not claim ownership of your personal information or generated resumes

5.2 Ownership of the Service

All Service content, features, functionality, trademarks, and branding are owned by ResumeBlitz and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Pricing

We offer:

• Free Tier: Limited resume generations with standard features
• Pro Subscription: $12/month or $99/year for unlimited generations and premium features
• Premium Export: $9 one-time purchase for advanced formatting options

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• All sales are final. We do not offer refunds except as required by law or at our sole discretion
• You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Success in job applications or ATS compatibility

We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €100, whichever is greater)
• We are not responsible for any loss of employment opportunities, reputation damage, or other career-related consequences

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeBlitz, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of any third-party rights
• Submission of false or misleading information to employers

10. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Non-payment of fees
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

• Arbitration: If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Norwegian law
